The
AMS Powerprobe 9630 PRO's augers are driven by a powerful
5000f/lbs auger head. This enables us to achieve depths that
no other direct push rig can.
Using Hollow stem augers is ideal for installing permanent observation
wells. They allow us to provide an excellent sand pack around
the screen, as well as, installing impermeable grout to seal
off the well.
We finish off each well with either a Flushmount or Upright
casing.
The hollow stem augers also allow us to decommission wells up
to a diameter of 3". They can over drill the well to clean out
sand and grout so the hole can be sealed permanently.
